I put attack on right trigger because I find myself also spamming dash attacks, or when I have hammer upgrades that let you hold chain your normal attacks. I’ve used this type of scheme for a lot of games with a dash and attack buttons (Dead Souls, Gungeon, CoM and etc) since I spam Dash a lot I’ve always left it personally on one of the triggers normally the left so I can use my right mostly for attacks. I also rebound my controls but different from yours: Most of you guys with 100+ hours won't approve of this, but as I said, I only finished the game 3 times and only got 16 hours in it, some newbies may want a layout like this to help on right hand carpal issues. Maybe adding different controller layouts for new players to test would make it easier at first The quality of my gameplay rose to the roof after the change and adaptation, now my hand doesn't hurt from having to dash-attack or dash-special since I'm just exchanging B-RT or B-RB instead of X-A and Y-A. The default controller almost wounded my hand on the way I had to spam Y and A at almost the same time due to a shield build I had on my first Hades loss after about 4 hours in the game, I ended up changing it to a "souls-like?" layout, casting and attacking with triggers, leaving pleny of room for dashing, reloading and calling the companion with the face buttons. I recently bought the game and finished sometimes with some heat, I really love the game on all aspects but I can't shake off the way the controller has only 1 default layout.
